WHAT PAINT COLOUR IS THAT?

Our most frequently asked question is - what paint colour is that? Here are some of our favourites. This week we're sharing our dynamic, vibrant and ever fabulous reds.

IN THE RED

Don't be afraid to use Red; when applied with skill it adds life to any interior space. We start with a neutral background and then apply red deliberately as an accent to create vitality.

A brilliant red sliding door was the fun inspiration

for other items in this fresh, casual beach house.

The same brilliant red is applied to the top and

base of this simple, no fuss bedside table.

Red is a surprise element found in this very
black and white kitchen once the cupboard
doors are opened.

The finely detailed white bookcase is enhanced
by the dominant red wall colour.

When you walk into the into this entry the glow
from the red cabinet is very welcoming.

The detail of the red door grille is a powerful

feature of this house.

The exterior of this country house is punctuated

by the red window in the courtyard entrance

- a surprise addition.

MARC NEWSON CAROMA VIP LAUNCH

Earlier this week was the VIP launch of GWA's latest - an exciting collaboration between Caroma and Australian Industrial Designer Marc Newson. Lucy and Katherine were invited to Sydney to hang out with Marc for the VIP event and be the first to see the full range of bathroom fittings and tapware - very cool and so were his latest designs!

SENSES ACTIVATED AT SATURDAY IN DESIGN

Saturday in Design is an annual trade event for the design community, this year the overall theme was 'Activate'.

Inspired by this theme, Nexus Designs in collaboration with Euroluce and Haworth created an exciting installation that activated the senses.

Referencing the rich visuals of moonscapes and space exploration, visitors found themselves in a playful and exciting environment which encouraged interaction and helped to showcase the Euroluce and Haworth products in a new and exciting context.

Both our Graphic and Interior design teams collaborated on the creation and execution of this installation, resulting in a successful and memorable experience for all involved.

A group of small artworks can be as powerful and interesting as one large one. Sculptural pieces can add height and definition to horizontal planes. A large artwork needs space around it, a small one can sit low over a table.
