Winners are Grinners

Twice we've collaborated with Dimitty Andersen Architects and twice the projects have received commendations for Interior Architecture from the Royal Australian Institute of Architects/Australian Institute of Architects.

This year it was for Jane's House. Check out the images below......

Citation: "Working within the bounds of a traditional turn of the century villa the designers have collaborated to create a modern and refined home"

Citation: "With respect to the Interior Design, it has its feet placed firmly in the minimalist tradition without feeling overtly cold or functional. Carefully considered spaces abound within the walls of the old and within the spaces of the addition - both of which provide context for the interior design to be played out"

Citation: "Built in joinery is beautifully designed and executed throughout"

Citation: "This project demonstrates the value of collaboration, a Client's trust in their designers and the power of considered design to inject new life in to an old home, rejuvinating it and offering it up for a new generation to enjoy"

Citation: "Collaboration has come in the form of Interior Design, considered Architectural interventions and Landscape Design - with all disciplines being skillfully deployed"

Milly in Denmark

Milly Bray, Interior Designer, just returned from Denmark where Corporate Culture put her up at the SAS Hotel, introduced her to glorious Copenhagen, Englebrechts, HAY, the factories of Republic of Fritz Hansen and Carl Hansen & Sons.
We're all jealous. Here are her favourite snaps.

An outstanding building - Republic of Fritz Hansen Headquarters. So clever but so simple - concrete, glass and their elegant furniture everywhere

The Danes aren't afraid to contrast bold colour with the natural green landscape

Republic of Fritz Hansen's lunchroom is filled with red Series 7 chairs everywhere

Metallic wire hangers by HAY. What every Melbourne fashionista needs in their all black wardrobe

Me at Nyhavn

I love the way this rich red building jumps out of the ground
